ELIDA COMPLETES FASTNET RACE AND FINISHES 2ND WITH STRONG PERFORMANCE

In her second racing season, Elida took part in the legendary Fastnet Race, finishing 2nd in corrected time in the Admiral’s Cup 1 category showing strong performance.

An intense duel unfolded over more than three days between the Ker 46 and Elida (Tison 48), from the Isle of Wight to Cherbourg.

Elida surprised many: while her clean lines and elegance are often praised, this time it was her performance that stood out. In corrected time, she finished ahead of benchmarks like the latest Wally, as well as several TP52s, despite demanding conditions.

This result validates our design approach, based on 10 years of weather data, targeting conditions that occur statistically once every two races on the Fastnet.

Elida is also a world first: the first modern offshore racing yacht built in wood, using our own Exoskin construction method – certified, lightweight, and scalable to larger yachts.

The crew is learning, race after race, how to get the best out of the boat. And it’s a real pleasure for us to see it happen!
