END OF THE 37TH AMERICA’S CUP AND ANOTHER MILESTONE FOR RELIABILITY

On October 19th, Emirates Team New Zealand secured their third consecutive America’s Cup victory, a testament to their strength and dedication.

Our client, INEOS Britannia also made history as the first British team in 60 years to reach the America’s Cup Match, a remarkable achievement to our eye.

For us, this marks another proud milestone—our fourth America’s Cup and another successful launch of a reliable yacht that helped the British team reach the finals and win the Louis Vuitton Cup.

The teams latest racing yacht, code named RB3,  competed in 42 races over 58 intense days, with more than 100 days on the water in total. This accomplishment highlights the importance of reliability in racing, as Ineos Britannia managed to avoid the technical failures that plagued some other teams, allowing them to focus on performance.

A subject every every pro sailing team should consider seriously as racing becomes more intense and the operations more professional.

Ineos has been a fantastic team in this respect investing in full scale testing, simulation in the estimation of slamming loads, continuing our work with numerical optimization of internal structures, and giving us the time to design some of the most refined carbon structures one can imagine, built by Carrington Yachts.

It is no doubt a team that has contributed to the development of new design methods and new group of talented designers throughout the campagin to move forward with the design of racing yachts.

Reliability. One boat at a time.

I want to say congratulations to all the team for this beautiful success.
