Manufactured entirely in carbon fibre, the collection has been designed by Thomas Tison, America’s Cup designer and builder of timeless sailing yachts.
Yachting equipment plays a critical role in daily life whether boarding from the dock, accessing the tender, or entering the water.
The Black Edition has been developed meticulously and we are sure you will appreciate the care and attention given to their design.
CARBON FIBRE GANGWAY
– Length: 2.5 m
– Width: 50 cm
– Maximum load: 200 kg at center point
– Full carbon fibre construction with carbon hinges
– 90° bayonet-mounted stanchions
– Deck socket mounted (custom diameter or socket on request)
– Integrated twin wheels for stable support
– Open-position locking system
Total weight: approximately 12–14 kg
Custom lengths and configurations are available to suit specific yacht requirements. Current projects include a bespoke 4.5-meter full-carbon gangway with integrated carbon boarding step designed for a 45-meter motor yacht.

– 1.25 m depth below deck level
– Handrails extending 500 mm above deck level
– Internal step width: 500 mm
– 316 stainless steel quick connection system for easy mounting and removal
– Three-part construction for compact storage
Weight: approximately 13–14 kg with stainless steel fittings
As an option the metal fittings can be supplied in titanium, reducing total weight by approximately 1.5 kg.

Passionate about sailing and today installed in 2000 m2 of modern facilities, the owner of CSC Composites has over the years defined an area of expertise of his own: the construction of highly loaded carbon fibre parts, often small and with a clear carbon finish. The three combined requiring precision, very advanced build methods, and numerous man hours to obtain the desired finish. CSC Composites is responsible for the construction of the Black Edition.
ABOUT THOMAS TISON
Thomas Tison is a yacht designer, builder, and sailor whose career spans 4 editions of the America’s Cup, culminating in conceiving the construction of the British America’s Cup boat for the 2025 America’s Cup, winning the Louis Vuitton Cup.
Over the years, he has developed a distinctive design philosophy combining advanced engineering and, organic forms that consider the user and his environment. His experience in advanced composite construction and lightweight structures naturally extends into the design of onboard equipment, where attention to detail, ergonomics, and durability are essential.
